The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Dillon Wildcats (Dillon, SC) and the visiting Lake View Wild Gators (Lake View, SC), observed Dillon's basketball team overwhelm Lake View by a score of 56-31.

The Wildcats (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Marlboro County (Bennettsville, SC). The Bulldogs come into the AAA Region 5 challenge with a 9-4 record. In their last challenge, Marlboro County was routed by Georgetown (Georgetown, SC), 62-48, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wild Gators encounter the Dillon Christian Warriors (Dillon, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Lake View will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 69-46 league loss to Christian Academy (Myrtle Beach, SC).
