Ohio High School Basketball - Wellsville can't hold off East Palestine

The East Palestine Bulldogs nipped the visiting Wellsville Tigers basketball squad by a final score of 55-53 in Wednesday's league outing.

Next, the Bulldogs face the United Golden Eagles (Hanoverton, OH) in a Eastern Ohio outing, on Friday, January 17. East Palestine will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the outing with a 2-10 record after their 63-36 league loss to Columbiana (Columbiana, OH).

The Tigers (4-7) will now prepare for their outing against David Anderson (Lisbon, OH). The Blue Devils enter the Eastern Ohio outing with a 6-6 record. In their last outing, David Anderson got by Academy for Urban Scholars (Youngstown, OH), 67-12, in a non-league outing.
