Texas High School Basketball - Fort Bend Travis knocks off Fort Bend Hightower

The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Fort Bend Travis Tigers (Richmond, TX) and the host Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX), observed Fort Bend Travis's basketball team overcome Fort Bend Hightower by a margin of 79-66.

The Tigers (22-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX). The Panthers come into the 6A Region III District 21 challenge with a 18-6 record. In their last challenge, Ridge Point defeated Fort Bend Elkins (Missouri City, TX), 54-32, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Hurricanes battle the Fort Bend Bush Broncos (Richmond, TX) in a 6A Region III District 21 challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Fort Bend Hightower will attempt to better on its 13-12 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 19-8 record after their 57-46 league win over Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX).
