The Groveton Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Gorham Huskies to 40 in the Eagles league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eagles now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Farmington for a Division IV game on Friday, January 17. Groveton will confront a Tigers team coming off a 61-31 league win over Wilton-Lyndeborough (Wilton, NH). The Tigers record now stands at 7-5.
With the loss, Gorham falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Huskies host Sunapee (Sunapee, NH) to confront the Lakers in a Division IV game on Friday, January 17. The Lakers go into the game with a record of 0-9.
