With the victory, High Point Central advances its record to 10-3 on the year. The Bison host Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC) to face the Camels in a 3A Mid-State match on Thursday, January 16. The Camels enter the match with a record of 2-11. Atkins won 52-44 in their recent league match against Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC)

The Red Raiders now own a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Walkertown for a 2A Mid-State match on Friday, January 17. T.W. Andrews will face a Wolfpack squad coming off a 74-43 league win over McMichael (Mayodan, NC). The Wolfpack record now stands at 6-7.
