The Mount Desert Island Trojans basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host John Bapst Memorial Crusaders to 39 in the Trojans league triumph on Wednesday.

The Trojans now possess a 7-5 record. They play next when they host Old Town for a B North game on Friday, January 17. Mount Desert Island will confront a Coyotes team coming off a 75-35 league win over Bucksport (Bucksport, ME). The Coyotes record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, John Bapst Memorial falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME) to confront the Eagles in a B North game on Friday, January 17. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 10-2. Ellsworth won 46-24 in their recent league game against Hermon (Hermon, ME)
