The Loyola Blakefield Dons (Towson, MD) basketball were winner over the visiting John Carroll Patriots (Bel Air, MD), 86-69 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Dons now possess a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Gilman for a non-league bout on Friday, January 17. Loyola Blakefield will play a Greyhounds team coming off a 86-65 non-league loss to St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, MD). The Greyhounds record now stands at 2-7.
With the loss, John Carroll falls to 8-7 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Baltimore, MD) to play the Cougars in a MIAA A - Red bout on Friday, January 17. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 18-3. Our Lady of Mount Carmel won 55-46 in their recent non-league bout against Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD)
