The Lamoille Lancers basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Lyndon Institute Vikings to 50 in the Lancers league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lancers now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Montpelier for a Capital game on Friday, January 17. Lamoille will confront a Solons team coming off a 93-53 non-league win over North Country Union (Newport, VT). The Solons record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, Lyndon Institute falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Vikings host U-32 (Montpelier, VT) to confront the Raiders in a Capital game on Friday, January 17. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 1-8. U-32 won 57-43 in their recent non-league game against Woodstock (Woodstock, VT)
