Utah High School Basketball - Waterford nips Maeser Prep Academy

In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Waterford Ravens basketball team scored a close 49-44 win over the Maeser Prep Academy Lions.

The Ravens (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Rowland Hall (Salt Lake City, UT). The Winged Lions come into the 2A Region 17 contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Rowland Hall was tipped by American Leadership Academy (Spanish Fork, UT), 57-47, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Draper APA Eagles (Draper, UT) in a 2A Region 17 contest, on Friday, January 17. Maeser Prep Academy will attempt to better on its 5-11 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 9-4 record after their 73-39 league win over St. Joseph (Ogden, UT).
