The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Maury Commodores (Norfolk, VA) and the host Manor Mustangs (Portsmouth, VA), observed Maury's basketball team knock off Manor by a score of 85-72.

The Commodores (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Norcom (Portsmouth, VA). The Greyhounds come into the Eastern challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Norcom was defeated by Granby (Norfolk, VA), 48-45, in a league outing.

The Mustangs (3-8) will now prepare for their outing against Lake Taylor (Norfolk, VA). The Titans come into the Eastern outing with a 8-2 record. In their last outing, Lake Taylor overcame Churchland (Portsmouth, VA), 49-34, in a league outing.
