In Wednesday's league contest, the host Marlette Red Raiders basketball team scored a good 52-37 win over the Memphis Yellowjackets.
The Red Raiders (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Brown City (Brown City, MI). The Green Devils come into the Greater Thumb - East contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Brown City was topped by Yale (Yale, MI), 66-42, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets battle the Carsonville-Port Sanilac Tigers (Carsonville, MI) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 17.
