The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Marysville Vikings (Marysville, MI) and the visiting Mott Marauders (Warren, MI), observed Marysville's basketball team overwhelm Mott by a margin of 63-36.

The Vikings (4-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Marine City (Marine City, MI). The Mariners come into the Macomb Area - Silver challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Marine City was trounced by South Lake (St. Clair Shores, MI), 63-53, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Marauders battle the Eastpointe Shamrocks (Eastpointe, MI) in a Macomb Area - Silver challenge, on Friday, January 17. Mott will attempt to better on its 1-8 season record. The Shamrocks come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 74-48 league loss to Center Line (Center Line, MI).
