California High School Basketball - New West Charter trounced by Math & Science College Preparatory

Math & Science College Preparatory Sharks (Los Angeles, CA) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host New West Charter Eagles (Los Angeles, CA), 88-28 in a league match.

With the victory, Math & Science College Preparatory advances its record to 9-6 on the year. The Sharks host Foshay (Los Angeles, CA) to face the Wolverines in a Crosstown match on Friday, January 17. The Wolverines enter the match with a record of 5-8. Foshay lost 70-63 in their recent league match against Larchmont Charter (West Hollywood, CA)

The Eagles now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Middle College for a Crosstown match on Friday, January 17. New West Charter will face a Cougars squad coming off a 51-16 league win over Animo South Los Angeles (Los Angeles, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-6.
