Utah High School Basketball - Milford holds off Piute

The Milford Tigers basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Piute Thunderbirds to 51 in the Tigers league triumph on Wednesday.

The Tigers now possess a 14-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mount Vernon for a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. Milford will confront a Patriots team coming off a 47-25 league win over Utah School for the Deaf & Blind (Ogden, UT). The Patriots record now stands at 2-10.

With the loss, Piute falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Wayne (Bicknell, UT) to confront the Badgers in a 1A Region 20 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Badgers go into the game with a record of 6-9. Wayne won 48-38 in their recent league game against Bryce Valley (Tropic, UT)
