The South Spartans (Bakersfield, CA) basketball crushed the visiting Mira Monte Lions (Bakersfield, CA), 65-40 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 11-8 record. They play next when they travel to North for a South Yosemite - Mountain bout on Friday, January 17. South will play a Stars team coming off a 69-29 league win over East Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA). The Stars record now stands at 17-4.
