Connecticut High School Basketball - Torrington knocks off Naugatuck

In Wednesday's league contest, the host Torrington Raiders basketball team scored a good 64-52 win over the Naugatuck Greyhounds.

The Raiders (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Seymour (Seymour, CT). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Seymour defeated St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, CT), 59-54, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Greyhounds battle the Ansonia Chargers (Ansonia, CT) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 16. Naugatuck will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Chargers come into the contest with a 2-6 record after their 87-27 non-league win over Derby (Derby, CT).
