New York High School Basketball - Northeastern Clinton nips Saranac

January 15, 2025: Saranac, NY 12981

In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Northeastern Clinton Cougars basketball team scored a close 53-49 triumph over the Saranac Spartans.

The Cougars (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Northern Adirondack (Ellenburg Depot, NY). The Bobcats go into the Section 7 Champlain Valley II contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Northern Adirondack nipped AuSable Valley (Clintonville, NY), 79-46, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Moriah Vikings (Port Henry, NY) in a Section 7 Champlain Valley II contest, on Friday, January 17. Saranac will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 8-2 record after their 64-43 non-league win over Schroon Lake (Schroon Lake, NY).
