North Carolina High School Basketball - Research Triangle holds off Raleigh Charter

January 15, 2025: Research Triangle Park, NC 27709

The Research Triangle Raptors basketball team scored 39 points and limited the visiting Raleigh Charter Phoenix to 37 in the Raptors league triumph on Wednesday.

The Raptors now possess a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Wake Prep Academy for a 1A/2A Super Six game on Friday, January 17. Research Triangle will confront a Guardians team coming off a 67-55 league win over Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC). The Guardians record now stands at 13-3.

With the loss, Raleigh Charter falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Phoenix travel to Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC) to confront the Firebirds in a 1A/2A Super Six game on Friday, January 17. The Firebirds go into the game with a record of 4-9. Falls Lake lost 67-55 in their recent league game against Wake Prep Academy (Wake Forest, NC)
