In Wednesday's league test, the Saranac Lake Red Storm (Saranac Lake, NY) basketball squad trounced the visiting Ticonderoga Sentinels (Ticonderoga, NY), by a score of 60-33.
Next, the Red Storm encounter the Plattsburgh Hornets (Plattsburgh, NY) in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I test, on Friday, January 17. Saranac Lake will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record. The Hornets come into the test with a 6-2 record after their 58-46 league win over Beekmantown (Plattsburgh, NY).
The Sentinels (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Peru (Peru, NY). The Nighthawks come into the Section 7 Champlain Valley I test with a 1-9 record. In their last test, Peru bounced AuSable Valley (Clintonville, NY), 46-35, in a league test.
