California High School Basketball - St. Paul sneaks past St. Monica

The St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA) basketball edged the host St. Monica Mariners (Santa Monica, CA), 51-48 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Swordsmen now possess a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Montgomery for a Del Rey bout on Monday, January 20. St. Paul will play a Knights team coming off a 67-51 league loss to St. Bernard (Playa del Rey, CA). The Knights record now stands at 12-9.
With the loss, St. Monica falls to 14-7 on the campaign. The Mariners travel to St. Anthony (Long Beach, CA) to play the Saints in a Del Rey bout on Friday, January 17. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 11-6. St. Anthony won 59-47 in their recent league bout against St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA)
