The Galena Grizzlies basketball squad (Reno, NV), was nudged 44-42 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Reno Huskies (Reno, NV)

With the victory, Reno advances its record to 13-4 on the year. The Huskies host Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV) to meet the Cougars in a battle on Thursday, January 16. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 18-0. Spanish Springs won 60-41 in their recent league battle against Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV)

The Grizzlies now own a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Manogue for a battle on Thursday, January 16. Galena will meet a Miners squad coming off a 61-37 league win over Reed (Sparks, NV). The Miners record now stands at 10-6.
