The Altha Wildcats basketball squad (Altha, FL), was crushed 47-10 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Maclay Marauders (Tallahassee, FL)

With the victory, Maclay advances its record to 11-6 on the year. The Marauders host St. John Paul II (Tallahassee, FL) to meet the Panthers in a non-league battle on Thursday, January 16. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 3-8. St. John Paul II lost 31-29 in their recent non-league battle against Franklin County (Eastpoint, FL)

The Wildcats now own a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Liberty County for a Rural District 3 battle on Friday, January 17. Altha will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 48-31 non-league win over Jefferson County (Monticello, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-5.
