The Andover Panthers (Andover, NY) basketball edged the visiting Cuba-Rushford Rebels (Cuba, NY), 29-26 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hinsdale Central for a non-league bout on Friday, January 17. Andover will play a Bobcats team coming off a 49-10 league loss to Cuba-Rushford (Cuba, NY). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Cuba-Rushford falls to 6-2 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Genesee Valley (Belmont, NY) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Friday, January 17. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Genesee Valley lost 36-33 in their recent non-league bout against Addison (Addison, NY)
