California High School Basketball - Arvin thwarts Golden Valley

The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Arvin Bears (Arvin, CA) and the visiting Golden Valley Bulldogs (Bakersfield, CA), observed Arvin's basketball team knock off Golden Valley by a score of 41-23.
The Bears (8-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Foothill (Bakersfield, CA). The Trojans come into the South Yosemite - Horizon challenge with a 9-6 record. In their last challenge, Foothill prevailed over Del Oro (Bakersfield, CA), 38-31, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Tehachapi Warriors (Tehachapi, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 17. Golden Valley will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 12-3 record after their 65-25 league win over West (Bakersfield, CA).
