West Virginia High School Basketball - Gilmer County routs Braxton County

In Wednesday's league contest, the host Gilmer County Titans basketball team scored a big 66-19 triumph over the Braxton County Eagles.

The Titans (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Keyser (Keyser, WV). The Golden Tornado go into the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Keyser smashed Berkeley Springs (Berkeley Springs, WV), 71-13, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles confront the Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Braxton County will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Grizzlies go into the contest with a 5-5 record after their 47-13 non-league win over Clay County (Clay, WV).
