The North Clarion Wolves (Tionesta, PA) basketball were winner over the host Clarion Area Bobcats (Clarion, PA), 51-42 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Wolves now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Keystone for a Keystone Shortway bout on Friday, January 17. North Clarion will play a Panthers team coming off a 36-30 league loss to Clarion-Limestone (Strattanville, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 7-7.
With the loss, Clarion Area falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Karns City (Karns City, PA) to play the Gremlins in a Keystone Shortway bout on Friday, January 17. The Gremlins go into the bout with a record of 12-2. Karns City lost 55-46 in their recent non-league bout against Redbank Valley (New Bethlehem, PA)
