The Columbia Bruins (White Salmon, WA) basketball edged the host Stevenson Bulldogs (Stevenson, WA), 41-36 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Bruins now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to King's Way Christian for a 1A Trico bout on Friday, January 17. Columbia will play a Knights team coming off a 40-35 league loss to Seton Catholic (Vancouver, WA). The Knights record now stands at 8-3.
The Bulldogs (2-9) will now prepare for their outing against Kalama (Kalama, WA). The Chinooks enter the 1A Trico outing with a 6-6 record. In their last outing, Kalama got by Castle Rock (Castle Rock, WA), 45-36, in a league outing.
