The Franklin Road Academy Panthers basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host St. Cecilia Academy Scarabs to 33 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Panthers now possess a 14-6 record. They play next when they host Battle Ground Academy for a Division II-A Middle District 3 game on Friday, January 17. Franklin Road Academy will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 52-43 league loss to Columbia Academy (Columbia, TN). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-8.

With the loss, St. Cecilia Academy falls to 2-16 on the campaign. The Scarabs host Harpeth Hall (Nashville, TN) to confront the Honeybears in a Division II-AA Middle game on Friday, January 17. The Honeybears go into the game with a record of 8-6. Harpeth Hall lost 54-48 in their recent league game against Lipscomb Academy (Nashville, TN)
