The Greyhounds (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Maury (Norfolk, VA). The Commodores come into the Eastern challenge with a 9-2 record. In their last challenge, Maury was knocked off by Manor (Portsmouth, VA), 30-28, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Comets encounter the Booker T. Washington Mighty Bookers (Norfolk, VA) in a Eastern challenge, on Friday, January 17. Granby will attempt to improve on its 9-3 season record. The Mighty Bookers come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 89-0 league loss to Lake Taylor (Norfolk, VA).
