The Hickory Red Tornadoes basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host West Iredell Warriors to 18 in the Red Tornadoes league triumph on Wednesday.

The Red Tornadoes now have a 2-8 record. They play next when they host Foard for a 3A Western Foothills game on Friday, January 17. Hickory will confront a Tigers team coming off a 76-40 league loss to North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 8-7.

With the loss, West Iredell falls to 1-14 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC) to confront the Knights in a 3A Western Foothills game on Friday, January 17. The Knights go into the game with a record of 13-1. North Lincoln won 76-40 in their recent league game against Foard (Newton, NC)
