The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA) and the host Lithonia Bulldogs (Lithonia, GA), observed Southwest DeKalb's basketball team knock off Lithonia by a score of 54-34.

The Panthers (12-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Buford (Buford, GA). The Wolves come into the non-league challenge with a 14-1 record. In their last challenge, Buford prevailed over Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA), 62-19, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Northview Titans (Johns Creek, GA) in a AAAA Region 5 challenge, on Friday, January 17. Lithonia will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 44-37 league win over Southwest DeKalb (Decatur, GA).
