The Mustangs (10-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Taylor (Norfolk, VA). The Titans come into the Eastern challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Lake Taylor was tipped by Maury (Norfolk, VA), 35-28, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Commodores encounter the Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA) in a Eastern challenge, on Friday, January 17. Maury will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 51-40 league win over Granby (Norfolk, VA).
