The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Towanda Black Knights (Towanda, PA) and the host Mansfield Tigers (Mansfield, PA), observed Towanda's basketball team overcome Mansfield by a score of 65-52.

The Black Knights (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Wyalusing Valley (Wyalusing, PA). The Rams come into the Northern Tier - Large challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, Wyalusing Valley defeated Athens (Athens, PA), 40-27, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Northeast Bradford Panthers (Rome, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Mansfield will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record.
