Oregon High School Basketball - Thurston holds off North Eugene

In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Thurston Colts basketball team scored a close 37-36 triumph over the North Eugene Highlanders.
The Colts (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Crater (Central Point, OR). The Comets go into the 5A Midwestern contest with a 14-1 record. In their last contest, Crater nipped Ashland (Ashland, OR), 98-15, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Highlanders confront the Ashland Grizzlies (Ashland, OR) in a 5A Midwestern contest, on Friday, January 17. North Eugene will attempt to better on its 6-8 season record. The Grizzlies go into the contest with a 5-9 record after their 98-15 league loss to Crater (Central Point, OR).
