The Lions (8-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Mohave Accelerated (Bullhead City, AZ). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 11-7 record. In their last challenge, Mohave Accelerated trounced Highland Prep West (Avondale, AZ), 77-14, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Gilbert Christian Knights (Gilbert, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 17. Scottsdale Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 46-29 league win over San Tan Foothills (Queen Creek, AZ).
