    • North Carolina High School Basketball - Ragsdale sneaks past Northwest Guilford

    The Ragsdale Tigers (Jamestown, NC) basketball edged the visiting Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC), 35-30 in Wednesday's league bout.

    The Tigers now possess a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Western Guilford for a 4A Metro bout on Friday, January 17. Ragsdale will play a Hornets team coming off a 61-43 league loss to Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Hornets record now stands at 6-10.

    With the loss, Northwest Guilford falls to 9-6 on the campaign. The Vikings host Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC) to play the Cowboys in a 4A Metro bout on Friday, January 17. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Southwest Guilford won 54-47 in their recent league bout against Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC)
