The Maroon Devils (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC). The Black Knights come into the 1A Smoky Mountain challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Robbinsville was tipped by Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC), 68-39, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bears battle the Hayesville Yellowjackets (Hayesville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 17. Summit Charter will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 49-42 league loss to Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC).
