In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Woodbridge Barrons basketball team scored a close 38-31 triumph over the Wardlaw Hartridge Rams.

The Barrons (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Middlesex (Middlesex, NJ). The Bluejays go into the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Middlesex nipped Spotswood (Spotswood, NJ), 38-32, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Rams battle the Piscataway Vo-Tech Raiders (Piscataway, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 17. Wardlaw Hartridge will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Raiders go into the contest with a 7-1 record after their 36-21 non-league win over East Brunswick (East Brunswick, NJ).
