The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Taft School Big Red (Watertown, CT) and the host Pomfret School Griffins (Pomfret, CT), witnessed Taft School's ice hockey team defeat Pomfret School by a final score of 5-0.

The Big Red (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Choate Rosemary Hall School (Wallingford, CT). The Wild Boars come into the challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Choate Rosemary Hall School got by Westminster School (Simsbury, CT), 2-1, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Griffins battle the St. Paul's Big Red (Concord, NH) in a challenge, on Saturday, January 25. Pomfret School will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
