In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers basketball team scored a big 38-15 triumph over the McDonogh Eagles.
The Cavaliers (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Mercy (Baltimore, MD). The Magic go into the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Mercy was trounced by St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, MD), 63-17, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the St. Frances Academy Panthers (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 16. McDonogh will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Panthers go into the battle with a 9-0 record after their 63-17 non-league win over Mercy (Baltimore, MD).
