The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Mark Keppel Aztecs (Alhambra, CA) and the visiting Schurr Spartans (Montebello, CA), observed Mark Keppel's basketball team overcome Schurr by a margin of 40-20.

The Aztecs (13-6) will now prepare for their challenge against San Gabriel (San Gabriel, CA). The Matadors come into the challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, San Gabriel defeated Rosemead (Rosemead, CA), 38-5, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Alhambra Moors (Alhambra, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, January 17. Schurr will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record.
