The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA) and the host Westmoor Rams (Daly City, CA), observed Menlo-Atherton's basketball team overwhelm Westmoor by a score of 53-5.

The Bears (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Carlmont (Belmont, CA). The Scots go into the bout with a 6-5 record. In their last bout, Carlmont was ripped by Aragon (San Mateo, CA), 34-30, in a league bout.

With the loss, Westmoor falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, CA) to play the Cougars in a bout on Wednesday, January 22. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Half Moon Bay lost 37-28 in their recent league bout against Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA)
