The Bulldogs now hold a 8-11 record. They play next when they host Taylor County for a non-league bout on Friday, January 17. Suwannee will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Jefferson County (Monticello, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-4.

With the loss, Newberry moves to 12-3 on the year. The Panthers host Interlachen (Interlachen, FL) to play the Rams in a 3A D4 bout on Thursday, January 16. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 8-7. Interlachen 2-2 in their recent non-league bout against Oak Hall (Gainesville, FL)
