In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Franklin Broncos basketball team scored a good 31-18 triumph over the Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech Dragons.
The Broncos (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Southampton (Courtland, VA). The Indians go into the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Southampton topped Sussex Central (Sussex, VA), 43-28, in a non-league contest.
