North Carolina High School Basketball - Maiden holds off Bandys

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Maiden Blue Devils basketball team scored a close 38-35 triumph over the Bandys Trojans.

The Blue Devils (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC). The Wolves go into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Lincolnton nipped East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC), 62-50, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Trojans confront the West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 17. Bandys will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 1-10 record after their 52-41 non-league loss to West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC).
