The Buhach Colony Thunder basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Golden Valley Cougars to 47 in the Thunder league triumph on Wednesday.

The Thunder now have a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to El Capitan for a game on Friday, January 17. Buhach Colony will confront a Gauchos team coming off a 49-28 league loss to Merced (Merced, CA). The Gauchos record now stands at 14-3.

With the loss, Golden Valley falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Atwater (Atwater, CA) to confront the Falcons in a game on Friday, January 17. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 7-2. Atwater lost 68-60 in their recent non-league game against Bear Creek (Stockton, CA)
