In Wednesday's league contest, the host Mohave Thunderbirds basketball team scored a good 58-40 triumph over the Lee Williams Volunteers.
The Thunderbirds (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Agua Fria (Avondale, AZ). The Owls go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.
In their next game, the Volunteers confront the Bradshaw Mountain Bears (Prescott Valley, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Lee Williams will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record. The Bears go into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 57-52 non-league loss to Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ).
