The Monache Marauders basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Mt. Whitney Pioneers to 27 in the Marauders league triumph on Wednesday.

The Marauders now have a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Golden West for a game on Friday, January 17. Monache will confront a Trailblazers team coming off a 59-19 non-league win over Orange Cove (Orange Cove, CA). The Trailblazers record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Mt. Whitney falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Monache (Porterville, CA) to confront the Marauders in a game on Friday, January 31. The Marauders go into the game with a record of 8-2.
