Salt Lake Academy Griffins (Herriman, UT) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Wasatch Academy Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, UT), 72-22 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Salt Lake Academy advances its record to 3-5 on the year. The Griffins host American Prep WV (West Valley City, UT) to meet the Eagles in a non-league match on Friday, January 17. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 8-1.
The Tigers now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Merit Preparatory Academy for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 22. Wasatch Academy will meet a Knights squad coming off a 69-21 non-league win over Freedom Prep Academy (Provo, UT). The Knights record now stands at 3-1.
