California High School Soccer - Van Nuys held off by San Fernando

In Wednesday's league contest, the San Fernando Tigers (San Fernando, CA) soccer team edged the host Van Nuys Wolves (Van Nuys, CA), by a count of 3-2.

Next, the Tigers battle the Reseda Regents (Reseda, CA) in a Valley Mission contest, on Friday, January 17. San Fernando will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Regents enter the contest with a 3-3 record after their 3-1 league loss to Sylmar (Sylmar, CA).

The Wolves (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kennedy (Granada Hills, CA). The Cougars enter the Valley Mission contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Kennedy held off Canoga Park (Canoga Park, CA), 3-2, in a league contest.
